Wildfire

Edition: 1 mold run
Released in 2000
SOLD OUT

Wildfire was the very first sculpture I ever created for the Hobby.  I began him on 2000 when I was pregnant with my last son, Colby.  Wildfire was only a one mold run and was produced by Resins by Randy.  Shortly after that I bought my own rotocaster and my second sculpture, Pyt, was produced by me.

Please note that I am having to do a complete overhaul of my website due to the fact that the previous webhost of my photos went down.  For many of these photos, I do not have copies at all because they were from many years ago and were stored on my old computer. It's going to take me some time to get these pages updated by adding new photos.  Thanks for your patience!

Inspiration for this sculpture:  I have always thought that the 'rearing' pose was so wild and 'horse'like!  There were not any rearing resins that I knew of when I sculpted him, so I thought he would be something a little different and exciting.  Little did I know I was choosing one of the most difficult poses as my first sculpture!  Learned a lot from him and Kristina Lucas, who critiqued him for me.
