Grullo Tango~ completed Jan 2005. In my private collection. This guy has all the bells and whistles and is, I think, some of my best work yet. He is a combination of airbrushing, pastels and hand painting. He's full of little details like individual hairs in his mane and tail and highlighted facial features. His tones range from a warm metallic brown to cold silvery blue. He's loaded with metallic sheen that will make him shine on the show table. In an effort to capture is true color and details, I took both indoor and out door photos, but none of these do him justice. The indoor ones more accurately show his color.

Grullo Tobiano Pyt, in progress April 2004.Hooves and tail not done....He has leg barring dorsal stripe and barring, a little facial cobwebbing, subtle dapples on his shoulder and hindquarter, silver/gray/green eyes, primitive markings on the back of his ears, neck shading, and minimal "belly bars". His ermine spots are very soft and blended. He was painted with acrylics and by hand with pastels. His hooves will have pigmented stripes, and his tail will be like his mane, darker at the tip with light guard hairs, done by hand. These photos don't really show him that great~ he's much more striking in real life-very soft and sooty.
Buckskin Desperado~Completed in May 2004. I also customized the tail on him.
